Treatment areas: the periorbital region — tear trough, palpebromalar groove, eyebrows, outer canthus and crow's feet — and the nasojugal groove in the midface, for the correction of superficial fine lines/wrinkles and depressions.
Injection: administered slowly at variable depths — into the dermis, subcutaneously or onto the periosteum — with the technique, depth and volume determined by the treating practitioner. A maximum volume of 6 mL per session is recommended in the instructions for use, and for the tear trough a maximum of 0.5 mL per side is advised; the gel should never be injected into the most superficial layer of the skin (epidermis), or above the muscle in the infraorbital region.
Precautions: do not combine with other aesthetic procedures such as peeling, laser or ultrasound-based treatments; not for patients with under-eye bags caused by fatty orbital herniation or lymphatic stasis, lower eyelid hyperlaxity, or those indicated for blepharoplasty, and not for patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 years old, with autoimmune disease, or with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine.
