Injection: administered slowly at variable depths — into the dermis or subcutaneously — with a multipuncture and/or fanning technique, the depth, technique and volume being determined by the treating practitioner. A maximum volume of 6 mL per session is recommended in the instructions for use, and the gel must never be injected into the most superficial layer of the skin (epidermis).
Precautions: do not combine with other aesthetic procedures such as peeling, laser or ultrasound-based treatments; avoid overcorrection. Not for patients with cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at the treatment site, known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or any buffer ingredient, autoimmune disease, cardiac disease or beta-blocker treatment, hepatic insufficiency, epilepsy or porphyria, or for patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding or under 18 years old. Patients should avoid dental treatment, other aesthetic procedures, extended sun and UV exposure and extreme temperatures for two weeks after injection.
